THE TRUTH ABOUT THE ZTE-NBN DEAL

To our Fellow Patriot:

For the past few weeks, we have heard what many people believe as the “truth” behind the issues surrounding the ZTE-National Broadband Network controversy. The latest witness in the Senate investigation into this issue, former Philippine Forest Corp. president Rodolfo “Jun” Lozada, has come out with damning statements against several personalities supposedly involved in getting the ZTE-NBN contract overpriced to the detriment of the Filipino people.

Jun Lozada has been commended and hailed as a “hero” for testifying before the Senate about the details he supposedly knows about the ZTE-NBN deal. He has portrayed himself as a helpless victim caught in the crossfire of this scandal who was left with no choice but to tell the “truth.”

But is it really the truth that we are hearing? Is Lozada’s “truth” as unblemished as he claims it to be, or is it tainted by his interpretation of events to suit his needs and purposes? Is he the soft-spoken, helpless victim as he portrays himself to be?

What is happening now involves the future of our nation We cannot allow half-truths or twisted versions of the truth to prevail and set off a political crisis where the Filipino people will end up as the ultimate losers because they have been deprived of what they need to know and misled by so-called “reluctant heroes.”

We, the Patriots for Truth, seek to favor no one. Our mission is to expose the truth, not selective parts of it, but the entire, unsullied truth. A patriot for truth does not seek to save his soul but ends up saving his hide. A patriot for truth is one who is willing to face and accept the truth whoever gets hurt, whatever its outcome.

The clips that you are about to hear forms only the first part of our mission. We will continue to seek the truth and expose it to the public. We will remain relentless in our mission. Expect more of the truth to come out in the following days.

Be not afraid of the truth!

And you want us to stop attacking Gloria because of this?

Riiiiiiiight.

Gloria still has to go. Even if they -- you, my dear -- all have to go.

Ta ta.

it's so arrogant for you to say, "Gloria still has to go, etc."

Gloria has to go nowhere, at least not according to you.

people are so arrogant, so ego-centric, like the La Salle Brothers and the Bishops who feel, this is their time to be like Sin, some kinda "catalyst" for some historic period of time, they can go down in history by.

yet, they lose grasp or what is truly essential, they are fighting for the overthrow of one Administration, in favor for another one,

equally, if not even more so- Corrupt.

Jun Lozada is a hypocrite,

I say that not as a GMA fan, but as an unbiased observer,

yet, what I have suspected long ago has finally been proven correct, he is a Joey de Venecia pawn.

ergo -- this is simply a power play

and they are making idiots, out of all of us

Don't be too emotional, mga 'igan. Those who are calling for PGMA to resign, look at 7 years ago. Isn't it the time when the Philippines was near down the drain? We don't want to be back in that situation, do we? It was the time when we had the most corrupt President robbing the country of the funds supposed to be for the public.

We heard Jun Lozada's stories. We heard his story-telling-a-lie directed by Ping Lacson. Now it's time to hear the real truth. Lozada and Joey De Venecia were expecting to earn big from the NBN project but since it was canceled, they are both unhappy. De Venecia's AHI did not win the award of the contract, instead it was ZTE who won. He is unhappy about it.

PGMA is correct. Her family does not invest in business with the government. Who does? The De Venecias. That is the truth.

If you want to save your soul, pls don't tell other sins to Senate. It has nothing to do with your own soul. Do not push somebody down from the airplane and shout MABUHAY ANG PILIPINAS! to become a hero. If you are really sincere in repenting, just go and hide yourself alone in the dark and humbly talk to our GOD if you really believe on HIS existence then ask for HIS forgiveness. Then go out with the LIGHT and follow HIS commandments and sin no more.

Solon: Lozada consultant for JdV
By: Raul S. Beltran
RODOLFO “Noel” Lozada, who is believed to have inside knowledge on the alleged irregularities in the cancelled national broadband network deal with the ZTE Corp. of China, was a former consultant of ousted Speaker Jose de Venecia Jr. and his son Jose “Joey” de Venecia III on “China-related projects,” a senior lawmaker claimed yesterday.

Rep. Danilo Suarez (KAMPI, Quezon) said Lozada, who claimed he was abducted in an apparent attempt to stop him from testifying before the Senate on the controversy, was very close to the De Venecias.

Lozada’s association with the former Speaker dated back long before he testified before the Senate on the controversial $329 million contract, in which the younger De Venecia also testified that there was overpricing in the deal.

Joey de Venecia also linked First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo and former Commission on Elections Chairman Benjamin Abalos Jr. to the deal.

“Many congressmen knew that Lozada was a consultant of JDV and very close to him and his son,” Suarez said.

But the lawmaker admitted that he did not see Lozada’s appointment papers as a consultant of the former Speaker but “it is a common knowledge that he was receiving consultancy fees at the Lower House.”

Suarez said Lozada could be among De Venecia’s alleged over 200 consultants, who included former congressmen, lawyers and even active journalists, whose “records could have been shredded following his ouster” on Feb. 5 by Davao City Rep. Prospero Nograles Jr.

The Quezon lawmaker, a former close ally of De Venecia, claimed that “matters and transactions” related to China and Congress “always had to pass the office of the Speaker.”

Rep. Ferdinand Marcos (KBL, Ilocos Norte) also reportedly complained that whenever he wanted to discuss some Chinese-related projects for his district, De Venecia’s office would always “refer” him to Lozada.

Lozada could not be reached for comment.

Lozada, kin linked to land mess

By Romie A. Evangelista

Senate witness Rodolfo Noel Lozada Jr. has illegally awarded leasehold rights to at least 10 of his close relatives on 95 hectares of land in Antipolo City under the Philippine Forest Corp.’s 200-hectare “Lupang Hinirang” project, documents showed.

The documents were prepared by a group of “PhilForest employees” led by Erwin Santos, former director and in charge of the Lupang Hinirang project. Santos, who revealed the irregularities committed by Lozada in a televised interview Thursday last week, said his group would submit the documents to the Senate today at the resumption of the inquiry into the $329-million national broadband deal.

The documents showed at least six other irregularities committed by Lozada while head of PhilForest, Santos said.

Lozada also granted leasehold rights on the same property to his friends as well as certain favored employees of the PhilForest, including members of the bids and awards committee, without observing proper procedures, the documents showed.

Under the Lupang Hinirang project, leasehold rights are supposed to be bidded out to qualified bidders with a price of P500 per hectare per annum and those granted notice of award with leasehold rights mandated to develop their area, including the planting of jatropha, which is being developed as alternative source of bio-fuel.

Based on the document, the 10 Lozada relatives and the size of their awarded PFC leasehold rights include Teresa Lozada Vargas, 2 hectares; Erwin Lozada, 2 hectares; Ma. Clavel Vergara Lozada, 5 hectares; Arturo Imperial Lozada, 5 hectares; Victor Emmanuel Imperial Lozada, 5 hectares; Teodora Salvacion Lozada Chua, 5 hectares; Jose Orlando Imperial Lozada, 6.59 hectares; Rouel Stephen Lozada Dones, 5.217 hectares; and Transforma Quinta Inc., 55.11 hectares.

The documents said Transforma Quinta Inc., which was awarded the largest land leasehold rights, is a company controlled by the Lozada family.

The “PhilForest employees” also narrated six other irregularities committed by Lozada which were properly documented, and they include laundering of PFC funds through insurance worth P15 million; conflict of interest, unliquidated cash advances, awarding of “overpriced” contracts to a “favored” contractor, scandalous and extravagant use of PFC funds, and violation of the civil service law.

“In the light of the ongoing NBN probe being conducted by the Philippine Senate, we the employees of PFC are in a state of shock and disbelief watching live on TV our resigned president, Jun Lozada, being revered by media as a new national hero,” the PhilForest employees said.

They said that while they are also interested in the Senate’s probe to ferret out the truth, they would also like to unravel before the public who Lozada really is.

Lozada, they said, was engaged in a “new way of” laundering PhilForest funds via a P15 million worth of insurance which he admitted readily when interrogated by Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago during one of the hearings.

Lozada, based on the documents, got himself insured using PFC funds worth P15 million with himself as beneficiary. His wife, Violeta, brokered the insurance contract and got commissions from the deal in the firm that she is working for, the Insular Life Assurance Co. Ltd-Wealth Builder.

On the issue of awarding of overpriced contracts to favored contractors, the PhilForest employees said Orlando “Owe” Lozada, Jun’s brother, brokered several deals with the contractor Gabriel Multi-media service, without the benefit of bidding.

The deals include the PhilForest Pinoy Komiks worth P528,640 for 20,000 copies; Auction Kits worth P320,000; and Oil Expeller Shade worth P500,000.

Apart from the irregular purchase of 35 pure-bred Australian Boer goats worth P325,000 which he admitted during a Senate hearing, Lozada also made extravagant use of PFC funds for the purchase of P1.9-million Toyota Camry 3.5Q and a P1.4-million Toyota Hi-Lux, for his and his brother Orlando’s personal use.

“Due to the wanton spending of government funds by Jun Lozada, PFC is practically bankrupt or has very little money left for salaries and operations of its employees,” the employees said.

Erwin Krishna Santos, who was appointed PFC officer-in-charge after Lozada resigned from his post late last year, said the Senate whistle-blower also had an attitude problem in dealing with PFC employees. He frequently badmouthed them when he was in foul mood, Santos said.

Santos, who resigned as officer-in-charge, has been replaced by Environment Undersecretary Eli Quinto.

Meanwhile, the Senate has summoned Angelito Banayo, consultant of Senator Panfilo Lacson, and a certain Gary Jimenez to testify on the broadband scandal. Banayo and Jimenez are expected to collaborate Lozada’s statements alleging bribery in the abortive broadband deal. With Fel V. Maragay

dear patriots
if your mission is truly "to expose the truth, not selective parts of it, but the entire, unsullied truth"
why are you only exposing conversations of jun lozada and joey de venecia? we would like to hear the conversations of abalos, formoso and mendoza as well.
and if for some reason you only have access to jun & joey's conversations, the please naman publish the entire transcript of these selected conversations. napaka obvious nyo naman!
so for those that want to read the full text of TRACK 3...

Joey (allegedly, Joey de Venecia): Hey Jun.
Jun (allegedly, Jun Lozada): Hey Joey.
Joey: Jun, can you hear me?
Jun: Yeah. Go ahead.
Joey: Yeah, where are you to put Chair (Abalos)?
Joey: Uh-huh…
Jun: Di ba? Kasi saan ko pa kukunin di ba? (laughs) Itong mga :)…
Joey: Kaya lang pare, we need to get some… at least from… something from them, di ba?
Jun: Yeah.. from both sides. P*tangina…
Joey: Pare.. start from the thing.. Because he’s the gatekeeper of the votes. P*ta. I can understand, but not that amount.
Jun: Oh yeah. that’s too big, right. That’s too big.
Joey: Pare, let’s develop a plan to talk to him.
Jun: Yeah, yeah, yeah. So…
Joey: And you know what he told me, between you and I. When we were in Hong Kong… in Shenzen. Don’t quote me ha. Sabi niya kasi, marami akong… Tinanong ko bakit ba ang laki-laki? Singkwenta.. Sabi niya marami ako kelangan bigyan. Pati yung NEDA. He said the word NEDA ha. P*tangina. For your information pare.
Jun: Information? I would understand that… He’d like to look at…
Joey: Maybe, wait, you can quote me and say, sabi ni Joey meron daw… sabi mo sa kanya may NEDA dun. (laughs) Di ba? He told me pare. (laughs)
Jun: Sige, sige…
(laughs)
Jun: For some reason, I have this chemistry with him. Sabi ko Chair… In fact, sabi niya, Jun, ikaw na mag-referee bukas ha. Sabi niya, I want you to be there. (laughs)
Joey: Well anyway, so that’s where I’m looking at right now. .. ought to get you.. And then, uh, think of a strategy for Ben (Abalos?), and if you need me to back you up, I’ll be there.
Jun: Hey Joey, regarding this Chinese embassy thing. I think I struck a motherload no? I’ll put them in Roxas Boulevard. P*tangina, di ba?
Joey: In the Reformation? (Reclamation)
Jun: No, p*tangina, that’s not prime. We’ll put them in the CCP complex.
Joey: Yup, got it.
Jun: P*tangina. Yeah, that’s, wala.. I can ??? that ??? agreement. (I can swing that gddam deal pare)
Joey: You mean, owned by the Central Bank?
Jun: Yeah! Can you imagine? P*tangina, same stature as the American embassy, better pa, di ba? The Japanese Embassy is in Roxas Boulevard. The American embassy is there. So p*ta, I just arrived that we put the Chinese embassy right in the midst of it all, di ba? Joey: Yes, yes, of course. That’s ??? to hear. That’s foresight. (That’s perfect)
Jun: … don’t mention my name. I think he knows me well.
Joey: Gaano kalaki, pare?
Jun: P*tangina, as much as 15 hectares. (laughs)
Joey: P*tangina. Tapos siguro kumuha rin tayo dun. Pero we need 10 finances. (10 financers)
Jun: No, no, no, no. P*tangina. I cannot just tell you all the things that I’ve been asked to do. But that one I think, I can ??? for ourselves.
Joey: I’ll talk to the…
Jun: Talk to him right away.

not all saints have their halos...

there are proper place for all of this.. hindi sa kalye... mas lalong hindi sa senado.

when history repeats itself, the country is really in dire need for change, there is EDSA 1, EDSA 2, and EDSA 3. But EDSA 4? Hello?

Congratulations to the Government for exposing and demoting the mafia-style Middleman triad of Joey(2)-Joey(3)-JunLozada. The JDV father and son team had long been serving as the middle-man(iacs) of the China-related projects while Jun Lozada was their fixer. This corrupt trio held the government by the neck in pursuing development projects. The De Venecia’s has been controlling most government deals and projects since the time of Marcos, Aquino, Erap and it is only the current government that has the guts to stop him. God bless the government for throwing the crocodile and his spawn out of the murky water.
Lozada is so evil for using the Catholic Church to validate his corrupt activities and lies. JDV has no place to hide for the karma he once experienced. Sino ba ang nasunugan, aber?!

I keep wondering why some people in metro manila keep on insisting on rallying, look the rest of the country just wants a proper forum, and to continue the economic growth we're experiencing . the governors and congress are supporting the President because that is the sentiment of the nation not of rally addicted people in MM. and the CBCP just aired what the provinces are edging for,..which is a proper forum and equal media attention on both sides ( I wish abs-cbn would listen) ...

Geez, some people believe Lozada's words like gospel truth! Kaya wala ng pag-asa ang bayan natin. Basta against the government kahit di sure na katotohanan pinagpipilitan na tutoo! As if they have evidence to prove their claims. Yung me curfew for more than 10 years. Believe me we are better off today than their time.

Will the economy fail if Gloria leaves? Is she the best economist in the Philippines? Can't her successor hire a really good one to manage the economy for the country? Duh... I've had enough of that pro-GMA statement.

Economiya?

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

What's arrogant about "Gloria still has to go, etc."? I don't find anything arrogant about it.

What's arrogant and egocentric about the La Salle Brothers wanting to be "catalysts"?

Unbiased yet you say "Gloria has to go nowhere?"

Hmm ... common tao is making an idiot of me. Hahaha. Perhaps one's choice of words betrays which side one is on, is it not?

it's good to have this kind of technology nowadays.

Patriots 4 truth, why don't you reveal everything and let the people decide....anyway every single Filipino knows the rampant corruption in our country.

My point is to know who has the credibility to run our country ( if there is?).

I thought it's about the truth…

I never voted for GMA in any public position. As senator, I didn’t know much about her; as president, I opted for someone better in my own judgment. I am writing an open letter to let others know that contrary to popular belief, those who don’t march on the streets also has strong political convictions.
It is inevitable for a Filipino to hear the name Jun Lozada nowadays. As the call for GMA’s resignation continues to be an overwhelming topic for media I chose to be a silent observer because I believe there is value in knowing before working. What can a person gain in acting without at least a plausible theory? For a being that has the faculty, action without knowledge is arrogance. It seems that a lot of people in Metro Manila have already made judgments about the alleged ZTE scam which prompted them to do and say things as if the business of knowing the truth is over. In the first place, I doubt that everyone who participates in the rallies even knows the whole story about the contract - or anomaly – as they call it. Is it safe to assume that everyone in the streets knows that GMA is guilty beyond reasonable doubt? Well, to cast doubt is but normal. Last night we watched a respected religious leader. Yes I am a devoted Catholic, but it does not mean I am convinced by my religious leader’s political opinion. Like us, some Catholic faithful listened to other religious leaders outside the Catholic Church. There was a very wise message that we heard that night and I think Filipinos must consider this in order to be fair and square. The pastor said “one of the beauties of democracy is that an accused is considered to be innocent until proven guilty”. Sadly, some thought otherwise – guilty until proven innocent. Jun Lozada who made the accusations has the burden of facts. Must there be a burden to disprove something that has not yet been proven? What exactly is the basis for believing that GMA is already proven guilty? Just because we heard the testimonies of Lozada, Joey De Venecia, and Madriaga in the senate we can conclude that the search is over? I think the worst part is that these same people are not even interested to wait until the issue has been resolved at least for the sake of the others who don’t share their positions. Every Filipino is entitled. Every Filipino is bestowed with civil and political rights just like them. And this is one of the reasons why the Filipinos are divided in the present times. Don’t you think it is unfair that protesters in Metro Manila dictate their political opinion to the whole nation, as if the Philippines is Manila alone or is there a privilege we enjoy just because we live here? I live in Q.C. but I cannot ward off the sentiments of others. What about Visayas, Mindanao and the provinces in Luzon? They even wished Malacanang to be located in their provinces because of their opposition to what we do here. If you ask where I got this information, I can say with confidence that I and my wife did not confine ourselves with one or two T.V. stations. The people’s diverse opinions are found not only in one form of medium. Text messages read on air, personal text messages, blogs, emails, radio, and forums. They are everywhere. Activists are adamant to what they want without considering other FILIPINOS, if anyone stands on the way, militant spokespersons can just malign him or her on national television. Maybe I’ll get maligned too for writing this. This is what we get these days. Few days ago, a disturbing event was shown on national television but no one even bothered to say something about it. A group of Kids, maybe 4-6 yrs old were asked to attach positive and negative traits to the pictures of real persons presented to them. One picture for Lozada, one for GMA. As expected, GMA gets the negative. “magnanakaw” “sinungaling” “corrupt”. These are real persons, not fairy tale characters. It is not important who gets the negative but why drag little children into this judgmental ways. What happened with values? This is what we teach our children. A group of educators doing this and no one even cares. These people are so eager to influence everybody that they resort to the point of using these children as means to an end. Can anybody with all honesty explain to me the value of this action? This is a mistake. Our culture of hate passed on to the new generation. Indeed, we reap what we sow. People are already pre-judged. If you say something in favor of Lozada and against GMA, you are telling the truth, you are on the good side. But if you do otherwise, watch out. You are telling a lie, you are immoral, you have been paid. You are on the DARK SIDE! So people are warranted to call you names and draw stupid pictures of you for the whole nation to see. We call this, the gifts of democracy, freedom of expression.
The militants and political opposition were enjoying the seeming support of the church to a drastic call against GMA. Church leaders were lauded. Now, because of the latest CBCP statements, Church leaders are called “irrelevant”, “naive”, “less open”, “less dedicated”, “less truth-seeking”. The militants left the CBCP’s trail because of this. They part ways because of the disappointment. To Manilenos, it must have been a surprise to hear the latest CBCP statement when all the while militant bishops, priests, and religious seem to support the calls for a radical action against GMA. Was the scenario objectively presented by the media? The names of Robert Reyes, Bishops Oscar Cruz, Deogracias Inuigez, and Teodoro Bacani are always heard of, thus, their political opinions are made public. And so, the militants were expecting a statement that has the power to provoke the people “yung mas matapang at mas may ngipin na pahayag”. Obviously, the majority of bishops do not favor a drastic action against the government, but why is this majority not heard in national television? I can only guess. Probably, they don’t want to be sensationalized like the others, they were not sought by the media, they decided to kept it to themselves even though they think its best, or if we follow the culture of hate- either they were silenced by church donations from the government or they are too useless. Maybe without hesitation you can tell us the truth about them. The role of the media to help people discover the truth is very important. I think we will agree that the truth must not be manipulated. Media, especially the two most popular networks must not be used in favor of any side, be it the administration or opposition. The resources must be used to help people arrive at the right decision not dictate the people’s decision. There is also the moral responsibility of serving the nation’s interest than the business’ interest. They must be true to their words. Just like picking highlights in a book, we must be careful in order for us to remain faithful to the story. Television is a very powerful medium. I am not sure that everything I hear is “patas, walang kikilingan, at hindi dinudugtungan”. It may sound interesting, exciting, controversial, and creative. But is it faithful and objective? or highly opinionated? Sinusubaybayan ko yung live coverage ng ZTE. Nakikinig din ako ng balita. I observed carefully how the newscasters delivered what I’ve witnessed. I realized I cannot solely rely on them. A clear example of this is the CBCP statement directed to them. Their manner of reporting also concerned the Bishops. Ibinalita ba nila yun? In fairness, maybe they have told the public that is also a matter of importance. Baka lang kasi hindi ko lang napanuod. O baka naman hindi na importante yun? Here is the statement: We Call on media to be a positive resource of seeking the truth and combating corruption by objective reporting without bias and partiality, selective and tendentious reporting of facts. Kaya naman tuloy some are already resolved. Life is unfair sabi nga. Walang benefit of the doubt. Si Lozada no matter how he is associated with Lacson and Madrigal is being idolized even by students.
Almost everyday Lozada visits universities, churches and civic organizations. People flock wherever he is. He is treated not only as witness to a crime but a hero. Bagong Bayani. If GMA goes down because of her possible involvement to corruption so be it. If Lozada speaks the truth, the nation is indebted to his courage. Even so I don’t see him like our heroes however he talks of his sacrifices. I have high regards to our country’s heroes. I can’t accept someone like Lozada in the ranks of our heroes. To me, he is simply a possible witness to corruption. That is how it is, without the euphoric feeling, without overstatement, and without the embellishment. Let’s leave it at that. Sure nobody is perfect. We should avoid mocking people. Nonetheless, I think we should carefully consider before putting a person on a pedestal. So at this point, no! I won’t call him a hero. I don’t know if I will ever call him one. Allusions to Jose Rizal and Jedi knights were used no less than Lozada himself. “ I didn’t know I’d save the country’s soul” he said. I hope he really is. And I hope the praises to himself came out of other people’s mouth. For a probinsiyanong instik, his lifestyle is too extravagant. Maybe I have a different notion of a probinsiyanong instik because I know one. Pardon me; pity me, if it makes me credible. I heard the alleged wire-tapped conversation. Joey and Jun admitted it’s them but defended it was tampered. Although I am not convinced, I hope they say the truth for the sake of us all. If not, Filipinos end up gullible idiots. Si Cory at Erap mga naging presidente. Well, I can still remember their time. If they believe that they know better, that’s fine. After all everybody is entitled to his own opinion. Resign, resign, resign Gloria. Ito yung ingay sa kalsada. Tuwing may nagsasabi nito like Erap, Lacson, Madrigal, Jinggoy and others talaga kayang they have the purest intentions for the good of the country? What do you think? Ano ba yung plano pag napatalsik si GMA through People Power? Sino ba kapalit? We want action as if we are sure that the alternative will definitely work. We really have to accept that we are all part of a “dysfunctional system”. One thing I find outrageous is that politicians who participated in ousting Erap for plunder now ask for his blessing because they plan to run for presidency.
“I accuse you” siyempre sasabihin ng inakusahan “kasinungalingan”, pero ngayon “I accuse her” sagot nung dating inakusahan “correct ka diyan”. Some others want to replace the suspected corrupt Gloria by a convicted plunderer Erap. This is unbelievable. I only pray that we give ourselves enough time to think before doing another revolution. Nowadays, everybody wants to save everybody’s soul. I hope it’s some sort of nationalism at hindi Messianic Complex, kasi kung ganon isang klase na naman yan ng dysfunction. Students join the clamor against the Arroyos with the closed fist gesture. Ipinapakitang lumalaban. Naninindigan. He talks as if there was a conspiracy or paniniil ng karapatan gawa ng makapangyarihang gobyerno but he was just talking of their school security guard who acted harshly. Their president acknowledged that the bomb threat was legitimate yet inuna nila yung political na pananaw bago yung safety. I saw how they reacted, and I thought this is a bomb squad not the riot police. Thank God wala talagang sumabog. Kaya aasahan ko that you will exert effort even in the simplest ways like paglilinis ng barangay laban sa dengue. I hope you’ll remain faithful to what you say: NAGHIHIRAP ANG BAYAN! MANINDIGAN, KUMILOS, MAKIBAKA.
Human rights madaling ma-violate. Ngayon, Konting kibot reklamo ka, demanda mo, pa-media mo. Kahit president ng bansa, kahit anong klaseng humilitiation gusto mong gawin go ahead. Nuon even if it’s too bad, media people are forced to make it look normal. Ngayon ewan ko lang. People Power is an exception to the rule. Now the exception becomes the rule. Last time we ousted a sitting president. It made GMA formidable. How many people considered checking the successor? Now some people say they don’t want to commit the same mistake. We might jubilate now only to pay later. I joined Edsa last time yet I won’t do it this time because I might be part of a force who will install a new president but no less than the same dog with a different collar. I believe some people are very dedicated to our country and that they want change through people power. I am also a concerned citizen but I see it differently. I refused to be a pawn to some people’s political ambitions.

This is not About kung sino yung kakampi mo o idol o kung kanino ka naiinis. ang mahalaga yung malaman natin yung TOTOO. kaya yung iba bago nyo sabihing binayaran, pag-isipan nyo muna.

truth? as far as i am concerned, those in malacanang are the ones not telling the whole truth. how come they wont allow mr. neri to come out and testify again? they are hiding in what they so call executive priveledge. why not go out in the open and lets find out who is telling the truth? so far since there is nobody contradicting lozada, he seems to be credible. those in the government cant seem to get their act together by telling different stories. all their stories also contradict each other. so before telling us that lozada is not telling any truth in his testimonies, malacanang should first answer a lot of questions. the nbn deal is just one, what about the fertilizer scam, hello garci, southrail, cyber ed,.. etc. there is your truth.

Rodelio said...

Rodelio, Mr. Neri already testified in the Senate. However, the senate inquiries were more like a wet market place rather than a legislative committee. Mr. Neri already answered all their questions yet the senate inquisitors sounded like a broken record & Mr. Neri got pissed off because he felt like talking to a bunch of drunken middle-school kids. Hence, Mr. Neri decided to testify to the Supreme Court. And that's the right choice.

I don't think these tapes were spliced---how can you splice and paste---eh tuloy-tuloy ang flow ng usapan nila, pati na ang sense, malinaw na malinaw. I hope the blogger P4T refers these tapes to the DOJ for consultation and advice. NAKAKA-SAWA NA ANG MUKHA NI LOZADA, ARROYO, ESTRADA AT MGA DEVENECIA LALONG LALO NA ANG GINA NA YAN- ANG LAKI NG BUNGANGA AT MUKHA!!!!!

We just suffered a hit, there are thousands of people who are now suffering after the storm. Our government is doing their part, they need food, they need clothes, the LGU's are doing their best. And those people who actually raised two million pesos for jun lozada are not doing anything. They prefer to rally for their version of the truth without evidence, that is a shame why not focus that energy and money to help the filipinos who are in an actual state of crisis??

"truth? as far as i am concerned, those in malacanang are the ones not telling the whole truth"
-Well as far as we are concerned ginagago tayo ni Lozada at ni JDV3.

Eto pa "so far since there is nobody contradicting lozada, he seems to be credible.."

"the nbn deal is just one, what about the fertilizer scam, hello garci, southrail, cyber ed,.. etc. there is your truth".

"there is your truth" may truth kang alam asan? nasan ang ebidensiya? si Lozada ganyan eh, nagparatang pero walang ebidensiya.

To start with, I am not pro-GMA. I do however appreciate the leaps we've taken economic-wise, which would have been impossible if she has not been a strong, capable leader.

I do not believe that PGMA must resign. The good thing about democracy is that it protects its constituents from prejudice by treating an accused as innocent until proven guilty. The call for PGMA to resign, based on pure allegations without proper court proceedings, is a grave insult to our democracy. It is a grave insult to EDSA1. Institutions that look after the right of each and every Filipino has been established because of EDSA1, and as a Filipino, PGMA deserves the same right to be treated as innocent until proven guilty in a proper court trial.

What good will it do if PGMA resigns? Will it eradicate corruption? Does her resignation assure us of a bright, corruption-free country? Are we a 100% sure that the prime movers of this PGMA resign movement has no trace of corruption, and that they are not putting their own interest before the nation’s? Say, PGMA steps down ... what happens next? Will the nation be united and agree to go by the constitution and seat VP Noli De Castro as president or are we to disgrace yet again our democracy by calling for a snap election?

As for the man of the hour, as much as I want to be part of the ongoing Lozada mania, I just simply can’t bring myself to trust him, let alone stand by his principles. For a self-confessed corrupt official who defines sixty-five million dollars as “permissible” in his favor; who has a lot of tears to shed and accusations to hurl; attempting a shot at innocence by saying he is just a “Probinsyanong Intsik” – although his extravagant lifestyle speaks otherwise; who seems challenged in maintaining a humble disposition by declaring without hesitation that he is “saving this country’s soul” – which could have impressed me if someone else said it before he did; his sarcasm in answering questions at times when he momentarily forgets that he’s supposed to act woeful; not to mention the way he punctuates all of his sentences with “P-----ina” in his wiretapped conversation with JDV III and decides to drag nuns and priests alongside come payback time --- Jun Lozada is either suffering from a massive multiple personality disorder or he is simply the smartest Tsinoy who will go down in our history as the greatest manipulator of all time. He knows the right words to say to win the favor of the media, the church, the youth. For the record, I am not saying that his accusations are false nor am I concluding that they are true. I just can’t bear this hero craze he knows he is not worthy of! He himself is corrupt! His “permissible $65M” can likewise feed and shelter millions of Filipinos! Have we forgotten that what we’re after is his testimony along with the evidence that can substantiate his accusations? Lozada has then and again diverted this whole thing to himself - his “sacrifices”, his “death threats”, his shenanigans – probably with all the effort he can muster, hoping for the very thing I have cited above - to skip the legal process, disregard our constitution and save his “corrupt” self from being reprimanded. I dare Lozada to drop the act, come forward with his evidence, and humbly stand alongside the guilty ones.

And the media – I haven’t heard the news as sensationalized as the ones I’ve been hearing nowadays. With the ongoing network war, it’s no surprise why ABS-CBN2 and GMA7 is wielding every effort to make their news as action-packed as possible - to the point that facts are lost, interviews are masterfully edited and biased opinion are carelessly tossed in. “Mas mahirit = mas panonoorin = mas mataas ang rating”. Majority of the Filipinos rely on TV alone for information, and these networks seem to exploit this dependency to win the ratings.

Being a part of the YouTube generation, my husband and I wasted no time gathering as much truth as we can on our own. We stream senate hearings and interviews, read transcripts, and research information on the NBN-ZTE deal. We also read forums to gather the sentiments of not just Manileños, but Filipinos as far as the Luzon provinces, Visayas, Mindanao and even the Pinoys overseas.

The youth is the only avenue of the digitally-challenged adults to obtain extensive information on what’s truly happening in our country. The students, however, are being roused to protect our democracy by rallying on the streets calling for PGMA to resign. Why not rally for the truth? Why not rally for our constitution to prevail? Has our democracy been downsized to freely expressing our anger on the streets, demanding to happen what we see fit even if it defies the very democracy we’re fighting for? There’s a big difference between vigilance and insubordination.

The bottom-line: Let democracy reign. Respect the rule of law. Accept the reality that PGMA is also a Filipino who deserves a proper court trial. Demand Lozada to file all his evidence NOW.

In his 20-minute homily, Father De la Rosa said people power should be used "not just before and after elections but during elections."

"Let's face it, we delude ourselves that by removing the President from Malacañang, just as we did with Marcos and Erap, integrity and honesty will be restored. We must stop looking for scapegoats to ease our burden, our guilt. We seem to have a penchant for putting the blame on just one person or a group of persons in order to take the heat off ourselves," he said.

The UST rector pointed out that it would be a "dangerous misunderstanding" to single out moral bankruptcy in the government while not looking at one's own.

"It would be simplistic and hypocritical to say that the problem of our country is only the President and the men and women behind her. The integrity crisis involves not just the President and the men and women behind her. It involves us all," he stressed.

I agree that the Senate Investigation is Shit because the ones doing the investigation are the sensators who orchestrated the kidnapping, lies, and alibis of the witnesses. Lacson and Madrigal knew beforehand the testimonies of the witnesses because they've been preparing for it for several months now. Mr. Neri made the right choice in testifying right before the more credible Supreme Court.

I wonder how can we add to that 10 million pesos, kasi, that sounds like a better cause than to donate for his lies. I agree with you, not all phd holders are competent im not questioning the credibility of mr. neri. but the question here is i guess the qualification as required in CHED chairmanship position. By the way, bakit wala ka comment sa fertilizer scam?

OO nga naman, leave this blogger alone. This is not anti-GMA, as you can see, go start and make your own blog para sa mga katulad ninyo na mga tanga. Trouble-makers talaga kayo, off-limits kayo dito. It is really disappointing to read comments that belong in the rallies, mga anti-GMA, mga low-class, so please, if you have nothing else good to do, don't do it here!!!!!We don't want to hear your opinion---keep it to yourself or go tell lacson, he'll pay you too!

I don't care if jun lozada is also one of the culprit. what is important is that the government should be cleaned up all the dirt should be removed. That means GMA has to go. finished.
i still believe jun is a "Hero" in another sense.

ei... can i re-post this on my site? -stine

CerberusBites said...

please dont CHEAPEN the word hero.. If your saying that Lozada is a hero, we might as well call terrorists and thieves as heroes. There are simply no heroes and villains in politics. Lozada is simply either a self confessed thief who wants to expose his company or a hired character assassin by power hungry politicians. Spare the brave Filipinos who sacrificed their lives in exchange of our freedom. Don't drag them into humiliation.

Ping Lacson knew that Jun Lozada was going to Hong Kong and not London, and that he was going to go back and testify, and quit his government post way back in January. This conflicts with Jun Lozada's testimony that when he was in Hong Kong he was trying to figure out what to do, when in fact everything had been planned out already.

To the exploitative mediamen, TV NETWORKS and NEWSPAPERS, you know who you are. watch out... You might totally lose whatever respect we have for you. It's not about you saving the country, It's about the fair and balance reporting. It's about the truth not opinion. No insinuation, no exaggeration, just plain truth.

Tigilan na nga yan at ang atupagin ninyo ay tumulong na lang. you are just wasting your time crying to death to oust Gloria. Look at yourself first before you keep on barking. Mga wala kayong kwenta. Magsipagtrabaho na lang kayo para sa ikauunlad ng ating bansa hindi yung tira kayo ng tira sa isang tao. mAS MABUTING PANG GAMITIN NA LANG NINYO ANG MGA PONDO NA INILALAGAY NYO SA RALLY BY HELPING OUR KABABAYANS. Fellow Filipinos, this only shows that there are still many level-headed Filipinos who will weight things before hastily going to the streets and demand this and that to anybody. WE ARE THE SILENT MAJORITY. We used to keep silent and just let them be, but just like you I got fed up with this overrated politics. I am joining this cause for others to be aware that they cannot dictate the whole nation just because they condemn the president and believe Lozada. I was hoping that GMA7 and ABS-CBN give airtime to the LGU's. Manila is not the Philippines. To Cory Aquino and others who are quick to judge, do not underestimate people who dont agree with you. Just because you dont get enough support you can warranted to say "marami ang nagtutulog-tulogan" for your information gising na gising kami. We are conscious enough to realize that the word truth is being exploited.

GMA should not resign. but help in revealing the truth. Her problem right now is "how to". people have already judged her unfairly. Wala pa naman ebidensya linking her to the scandals. People are basing their conclusions on what they hear-primarily because there is no competent answer from the government on the questions being raised. nahahalata sila tuloy na me tinatago. si atienza nga nun tinanong ang alam na sagot "di ko alam yan" e contradicting sa sinabi nya sa interview naman sa radyo nun lumakad si jun lozada na alam nya na me warrant si jun lozada. Im not saying jun lozada is telling the whole truth but his statement is still more consistent than those in the cabinet. masyado yata nagpapapapel yun ibang cabinet members e di nila alam lalo nila pinapalaki sunog. again i reiterate, GMA should not resign but prove to the people that she will help of getting rid of the corruption.Para pagbaba nya sa 2010, meron naman syang naiwan na legacy being the president who set an example in ridding corruption, di katulad nung mga nakaraang presidente.

The media will feed people about 75% or more anti-GMA nutrition and less than 1% pro-GMA nutrition (24% other news), so the people will be healthy of vitamin R(age) and rally down at Makati. Maybe what they may report are not twisted, but exaggeratedly negative. That is why most people would think pessimistically about our future as a nation.

Gloria is having one of her most difficult time because all corrupted fingers of accusations are pointed at her, and she can't get enough support to the people because of her unpopularity. She may cheated in the elections, but she is making good progress. Many people don't know that there are upcoming projects in various parts in the Philippines all thanks to her. So, GMA, prove to them they're wrong about you (If you can).

Look at our senators of our gov't. Thay haven't passed a single bill last year. Is this what the people voted for? Then they will tackle this scandal, whoa! How wrong is this?! If you like to change the way we live under the law, why don't you change the Constitution??!! Prove to us that you all are worth the vote (even I can't sill vote).

Oh yeah, about Jun Lozada and JDV III, who would believe in him after the people hears this. I just hope the media will let the people hear the conversations (Then again Jun and Joey will deny this).

ABS-CBN is not only anti-GMA but also anti-PGMA. One ABS-CBN executive told me once that the Lopezes are indebted to Cory Aquino (because she turned over their properties to them after Marcos left)...so much so that they even made Kris Aquino their superstar. I asked the person why she is their star eh ang pangit-pangit naman- kaya pala. That's why I'm not wondering why ABS-CBN is only reporting about the anti-GMA activities kasi Aquino is in those rallies and like her, the Lopezes have to be anti-PGMA also. That's what we call utang na loob. That's why the Lopezes are part of the opposition. They even married one of Estrada's daughter- mga tanga rin ano? These people (oppositions) made tons of money during Aquino and Estrada's administration and now nawala during PGMA's administration. Hence, they want her out para sila naman. THEY ARE THE GENUINE (CORRUPT)OPPOSITION!!!!!

Jun Lozada lied again! He did not confess to his wife about his relationship wid Marissa. He was caught! Violet left him but agreed to come back for the sake of d children. Lozada never went after Violet. He didn't even ask for forgiveness. In fact he was getting ready to move in wid Marissa as soon as d new haus was done. But Marissa found out dat Lozada had a blossoming affair wid a nursing student. So she left him too. Now he is in his element wid adoring students. Mothers BEWARE!

Yun pala may nakatagong dalawang pamilya!

Kapal ninyo!

A FEW QUESTIONS FOR LOZADA

1. YOUR WIFE VIOLET PANICKED ON FEB. 5 WHEN YOU ARRIVED IN HONG KONG BECAUSE YOU DID NOT CALL HER BUT YOUR MISTRESS, MARISSA. THIS MEANS YOU LIED BEFORE THE SENATE. THIS MEANS YOU ARE LIABLE FOR PERJURY. SHOULD THE PUBLIC FORGIVE YOU FOR THIS? OR YOUR WIFE FOR THAT MATTER?

2. YOU ARE PLANNING TO EMBARK ON "PROVINCIAL TRUTH CARAVAN." WHERE WILL YOUR FUNDS COME FROM? FROM GROUPS WITH VESTED INTERESTS? FROM JOEY DE VENECIA WHO USED TO GIVE YOU P200,000 WEEKLY? SHOULD THE PUBLIC FORGIVE YOU FOR THIS?

3. YOU ACCEPTED SANCTUARY FUND FROM ORDINARY FILIPINOS WHO WERE DUPED BY YOUR GLIB TONGUE. BUT YOU ARE RICH, EXTREMELY RICH AND CORRUPT. YOU HAVE THREE CHILDREN STUDYING IN LA SALLE WITH VIOLET. YOU HAVE FOUR CHILDREN WITH MARISSA WHOM YOU SUPPORT. YOU SAID THE P200,000 ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE IN WACK WACK WAS "P200,000 LANG, MALIIT LANG NAMAN." YOU HAVE A P5 MILLION INSURANCE POLICY PAID FOR BY PHILFOREST. YOU BROUGHT LUXURY VEHICLES USING GOVERNMENT FUNDS. YET YOU ACCEPT WITHOUT FLINCHING HARD-EARNED MONEY FROM ORDINARY FILIPINOS. SHOULD THE PUBLIC FORGIVE YOU FOR THIS?

Tapos sasabihin mandaraya?

Tirador said...

Buti nga sila may trabaho e.

Yung Northrail, at Southrail walang illegal doon.

Telling the truth, if indeed true in case of Jun Lozada, is one such heroic deed. However, bragging about telling the truth at every corner, street, school, church,gathering,....., everywhere, negates the good deed because now, Jun Lozada has become a braggart. People do get tired when repeatedly told of something, true or not, and now wants to know Jun Lozada's true reason for his acts. I feel sorry for him because, because of too much exposure, his personal life got exposed. His corrupt acts as government official and the illicit affairs with other women seem heavier on a scale than his sole act of telling the alleged truth. His PR manager, if he has one, is not very effective because not even majority of the bishops, who are only a small fraction of 80 million Filipinos, believe in his crusade.

Bakit ba sila tuwang-tuwa kay Lozada. Sinungaling yan.

Hoy, huwag niyo kami gawing tanga.

Hahahaha! Sagot na.

Why are some of the people living in Metro manila ridicule us here down south especially Cebu of NOT participating in such acts?

You think SOME of you up there own this country. WE here too, have a say on whatever concern there is, but we choose to act in a different way.

Always marching, shouting, using children for rallies, getting people to join for a measly buck or food, being aggressive against the police so the international photographers can get a good shot of your "activistic" side ... its not wonder the police beats you up. And you say you were harassed, that your human rights were violated... Naturally, they had to defend their own selves or else they would've been beaten by placards, fists, and banners.

You'll never stop until some of you get what you want. You'll be the death of us all...

I have the same sentiment brother. I have Visayan blood but I grew up here in Q.C. And I'm also fed up with this kind of whacko who recently hurled up insults to other Filipinos. There are many wise Manilenos, they too wont tolerate these ill-bred idiots. Whoever you are who has the guts to throw insults like this to people who don't join you, you are a DISGRACE to the Filipinos.

Why I will not support calls for resignation

By Fr. Ranhilio Callangan Aquino, Dean, Graduate School of Law, San Beda College (Mendiola)

I AM not an apologist for President Arroyo. I have received no favors from her. I believe that she is a competent president and I also believe in the Rule of Law, no matter that the law may, in several respects, be infirm. And by the precepts of the Rule of Law to which I adhere, pressuring the President into resigning by swaying public opinion away from her and alienating the allegiance of the military is anathema. My own reflections on the moral dimensions of the problems confirm me in the legal position I have so far taken.

1. I have followed with keen attention the proceedings in the Senate. Joey de Venecia’s testimony clearly implicates the First Gentleman. Under the current legal doctrine of individual responsibility, there is no justification to impute to the President whatever wrong-doings the First Gentleman may be guilty of. I am not yet conceding that he is guilty.

2. The testimony of Lozada, while rich in many details, contains not a single incriminatory statement against the President. There are innuendos that the deal was known to , if not brokered, by some Malacañang personalities, but innuendo is never evidence, and when we take so a serious move as urging the people to press for the resignation of the President, such a call must, by all moral precepts, rest on moral certitude!

3. Much of the testimony of Lozada in the Senate would fail the test of judicial admissibility. The Senate does not adhere to the Rules of Evidence. It is not required to because its task is not judicial.

4. The Senators are not the impartial investigators and judges that judicial proceedings call for. Most of the Senators are political adversaries of PGMA. The witness answers as he is led by the questions. In court, most o these questions are characterized as “leading,” and are disallowed in direct examinations because they lead the witness to the kind of answer the proponent of the question—in this case, the senators—wish to elicit from the witness.

5. Section 15 (1) of Republic Act 6770 vests in the Ombudsman the power to investigate “any public officer of employee, office or agency” when an act or omission complained of appears to be illegal or even merely improper. I do not read, nor is there reason to read, the exclusion of the President from the power of the Ombudsman to investigate. Section 22 is in fact express about its power to investigate impeachable officials. I would like to hear the Ombudsman tell us whether or not there is probable cause in the first place because this, the Senate of its own cannot determine, nor does it possess the power to do so!

6. What shocks me is the irresponsibility with which a lawyer and a Senator of the Republic should prejudice the Ombudsman and dissuade the public from lending credence to the Ombudsman. Why should he? The reason is not too difficult to fathom: Since this particular senator has always wanted the President ousted, he wants public attention focused on the Senate, majority of whose members are having a heyday with the investigations at which they get the chance to bash the President. Proceedings before the Ombudsman should be more sedate, more orderly, more rational.

7. The contention that the Ombudsman and the DOJ Secretary cannot conduct credible investigations because they are presidential appointees is specious! Were that so, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the associate justices of the High Court, the justices of all superior courts, judges of courts, members of the Constitutional Commissions—all would lack credibility because all are presidential appointees. Is it then our sad fate in this blighted Republic that only the Senators are to be trusted? All the clowning that has taken place in the Senate thus far convinces me otherwise: That it is one of the least credible institutions in this country.

8. Is it really the truth we seek? I have the sickening feeling that the President’s foes have already decided what the “truth” is—that she is guilty. If the Ombudsman were to find no probable cause against the President nor reason to indict the President in the Lower House (that is tasked with filing the articles of impeachment) after a thorough investigation, would the members of the opposition and the media be willing to accept this as “true”? I have my serious doubts. But that is exactly the trouble: If they have decided before hand what “true” is, then all investigations are unavailing.

9. When one protests his earnestness in search of the truth and at the same time presses for the resignation of the President, one is guilty of a “performative contradiction.” If you search for the truth, you do not yet know whether or not she is guilty. But if you do not know this yet, what reason is there to ask her to resign?

10. Asking for the President’s resignation gives now the military the signal to shift allegiances: From following the chain of command to breaking it. I find pathetic and ludicrous Jose Ma. Sison’s call to the military to shift allegiances.

11. When did all these coup attempts disruptive of civil government start? They all started with the politicization of the military. While we lauded their role in the first EDSA People Power revolution, we also opened a Pandora’s Box—the ugly prospect of the military dictating upon civilian government and making the latter hostage to it. How shall we ever have a government that truly subjects military authority to civilian rule if we court military support for the ouster of civilian government?

11. The two EDSA People Power exercises we have gone through got us the results we wanted THEN—the ouster of Marcos, the ouster of Erap. But have these resulted in the strengthening of democratic institutions? They definitely have not. And when the institutions of democracy and justice are weakened by extra-systemic measures like people power, snap elections, pre-mature departures from office of duly constituted authorities we deter the maturing of our democracy.

12. It has been repeatedly argued that the President’s resignation is not unconstitutional. But forcing her to by inviting the military for example to disavow obedience to their Commander-in-Chief and the civilian population not to submit to authority is certainly unconstitutional

Fr. aquino, we are so relieved of this wisdom..

As many protesters are swayed by some church leaders who openly call for the President's resignation or ouster, you and the majority of Church leaders earned our respect by being brave to publicly declare your objective statements about this issue.

The generation before us were opressed, their rights violated that's why the situation called for people power. Let's get over the EDSA1 hangover, that fight has already been won for us by the generation before us.

Our constitution is the very legacy of EDSA1 - gamitin po natin.

What's so defeaning is your silence on GMA and her cohorts' attempts to hide the truth behind the misuse of executive privilege. If you're really "patriots for truth," why not point out that she open all the books, submit all the documents, be transparent and let the WHOLE TRUTH come out? 'Your slip is showing', 'ika nga ng boss mong si Bunye.

"We, the Patriots for Truth, seek to favor no one. Our mission is to expose the truth, not selective parts of it, but the entire, unsullied truth."

Yeah right, favor no one my a$$.

If you're really sincere, come out in the open, expose yourselves in the media, and bring out all the tapes (and not just your prepared and edited versions).

All of these bull$hit against Lozada and JDVIII DO NOT remove GMA's and her cohorts' culpability. If they all have to go to jail, so be it (including YOU. Yes, YOU, lahat kayo, all accomplices in wire-tapping).

Been reading the comments and I must say that this is a healthy exercise for society. One thing that is of obvious commonality amongst all blogs/comments: We are all frustrated with the present system of governance, our leaders, and societal direction.

Don't despair, we must remember that the Philippines is a young democracy. Review our history! We are a mere 62 year old democracy. What we have achieved in 62 years greatly surpasses many of the experiences of other developed nations. It has taken other countries hundreds of years to discover who they are as a people. We are in search for our identity as a people and we will weather these turbulent times.

Sadly, as we mock our system and our leaders, we must crave for a greater awareness on the degradation in the moral fibers of society. In today's world: The nation conspired to oust a previous President based on illegal gambling payoff allegations, threw him behind bars, only to set him free a few years later so that he may once again claim the Presidency because his so called "constitutional clock has stopped." A whistleblower who is a self-confessed sinner is proclaimed as a HERO since telling the truth nowadays is extraordinarily above today's accepted ethical standards. A dishonest leader that can survive through any political storm deserves to stay in office at the expense of destroying the reputations of all institutions of government (PNP, AFP, Supreme Court and most courts, DOJ, OMBUDSMAN, OSG, CONGRESS, SENATE, The Office of the President, Vice President, etc.).

What are we trying to pass on to our children as they observe these tenets of history?

This is the reason why some people, regardless of the color of flags they fly, choose to ventilate their frustations in the streets. This is not a justification for people power, only a mere appreciation of the reasons behind it.

For as long as this government, via the institutions tasked to afford them justice, will fail in delivering to the people or even a portion thereof the justice that they seek, the Filipino will forever be in search of that so called TRUTH, in the streets, over valleys, mountains, rivers and seas.

This is the beginning of CHANGE. Let's accept it, not go against it!

Sobrang garapal naman and pinaggagagawa niya.
Di ba obstruction of justice iyon?
Wala man lang delicadesa.
Wiretapping, demolition job, how low can you get? Alam mo din siguro these wiretapped conversations will not hold water in court. It will not affect the senate hearings.Maybe some people might believe you and have second thoughts about Jun Lozada's "other side", but thats not the issue here.

This is my response to SPRATLY'S COVERED-UP TOO's comments:

BAKIT HINDI MO YAN SABIHIN KAY LOZADA???? Allow me to quote you >> "submit all the documents, be transparent and let the WHOLE TRUTH come out?" <<

Sabi nga ng hubby ko: LOZADA has the BURDEN OF FACTS because he is the one MAKING THE ACCUSATIONS.

There's only one ultimate truth, but we're presented with two sides. I COMMEND the AUTHOR OF PATRIOTS4TRUTH for BACKING UP his truth WITH EVIDENCES.

DON'T EXPECT to see EVIDENCES AGAINST FG, GMA etc HERE because the TRUTH WE'VE ARRIVED at here is that LOZADA IS DEFINITELY A LIAR and that this whole charade was PRE-PLANNED by LACSON, JDVIII AND LOZADA himself.

And YOU'RE WRONG to say that we're not "coming out in the open, and exposing ourselves in the media" ... nagkataon lang na sa ABS-CBN 2 AT GMA7 KA LANG NANONOOD, and your dependency on these networks is being exploited in return for ratings. Subukan mo minsan manood sa NBN4 dahil ang interviews dun HINDI EDITED to favor the administration even if it's their network.

As I am typing this post, Fr. Ranhilio Callangan Aquino - DEAN of San Beda's Graduate School of LAW is being interviewed in NBN4.

Ang totoo niyan we are striving hard to secure your dignity as well - oo, kayong mga sigaw ng sigaw sa kalsada. LOZADA is having the time of his life making idiots out of Pinoys! BAKIT KAYO PUMAPAYAG? I am sure that Lozada will eventually be remembered as the greatest manipulator of all time, ipprint yan sa textbooks ng magiging mga anak niyo, at ano ang sasabihin niyo?

Meron bang marunong makipagdebate dito? Yung may utak lang pls. Meron akong kasamang taga-UP...isa!

Kaya kayong mga taga-UP ngayon, ipagpatuloy ninyo iyan!

Dali!

Enough of the sarcasm tirador.

See, you're too quick to say na we have the abroad mentality. Are you sure? Man, you have no idea about our principles so don't even start.

Uulitin ko lang ang sinabi ko:

The generation before us were oppressed, their rights violated that's why the situation called for people power. LET'S GET OVER THE EDSA1 HANGOVER, that fight has already been won for us by the generation before us.

OUR CONSTITUTION IS THE VERY LEGACY OF EDSA1 - kaya respetuhin natin at gamitin natin.

if you will not be able to read this anymore assumptionista. others will know that you are just proving me right. You, assume this, assume that, judge her, judge him. though by your admission you are indeed a trouble maker, You also said you dont stoop to my level, you said I'm evil, you imply that I am not enlightened. Well I hope you are. Pag katapos mong sabihin na binayaran yung tao, magiging apologetic ka naman na you have nothing against pro-GMA people kapag may pumalag sa pambabastos mo. You claim you know better. You must be very proud of yourself. If indeed you wont visit this site again, It means you spared us from trouble making. I hope no inconsistency this time. For the record, I respect people from assumption. Well in order to make my case strong I say nothing any further. Well, God bless us all.
